We don't normally sell bikes, but occasionally, one-of-a-kind bikes come our way. True Excelsior Henderson aficionados will recognize their uniqueness and value. This is the only factory produced black Jenny. The first owner returned the bike to the factory after purchase and had the paint changed to black. The service records show some of the early upgrades were done in Minnesota. It was sold on eBay in 2002 with 9800 miles. The bike was brought to us by the second owner in 2003. We installed H-5 cams, new front and rear tires, our fan forced oil cooler and finished the upgrades that had not been done. In 2005 it was brought back to us for the Stage 3 High Performance Motor enhancements. This included porting and polishing of the heads, installing high compression pistons, studs instead of head bolts, pinning the main bearings and balancing the crankshaft. The rear wheel has been sleeved, flexible battery cables installed and our stainless motor isolator nuts put on. The battery was replaced in 2006. It has been in storage since then.
The bike is in excellent condition. It comes with all the accessories which were standard equipment on the Jenny: windshield, highway bar, driving lights, saddlebags, 30 tooth sprocket, sissy bar with luggage rack and factory slash-cut mufflers.
This bike is ready to ride and one of the best examples of the evolution of upgrades and repairs available.

This Deadwood Special came to us in 28 boxes. The original owner had disassembled the bike down to the frame. His brother, who had inherited it, brought it to us to have it reassembled. He also requested every enhancement and improvement available be done..
This bike is as perfect an Excelsior Henderson as you can find. It is a total frame up restoration. Every part has been carefully fitted and assembled. The motor has our full Stage 3 Performance package and all upgrades and improvements. Even the fins have been hand filed. The tires and battery are new. It comes with a windshield, saddlebags, driving lights, a highway bar and factory slash-cut mufflers.
A smooth and powerful ride, it is the finest example of the Deadwood Special available.
