We had powder coated the cylinders and heads and had the fins diamond cut several years ago. It was done a little backward because the bike had already been painted and we had to match the paint. This time the sheet metal was painted to match the motor and powder coat was used on many formerly chrome parts.
Wayne did most of the work himself, with the aid of his local powder coating outfit. We think it turned out great.
